IMPORTANT NOTE:   The Embroidery Billboard and the Adorable Affordable Designs Mall maintains a high standard.  I do not advertise or sell for anyone who is in any way associated with a list, mall or person that may be involved now (or in the past) in illegal activities such as design or software trading or is associated with those that may have questionable business practice.  Your ads may not contain links or information that leads to other mailing lists or Yahoo Groups.   If you have questions email Pam Hanson at embroiderybillboard@cox.net

Payment for Regular Billboard Ads -- Send In An Ad Once Per Week
Your ad is put on a web page with a link to that web page on the left hand of the newsletter on the day you send me the ad to post. 

Part of the ad will get a featured spot in the main part of the newsletter with links to your site and usually a color picture.  If your ad is short the entire ad may be in the main section.

You also can have an embroidery project featured or be in the Get to Know a Designer section.  Let Pam know if you to be in these sections or if you have an idea for the newsletter.

These Three Choices available to any BILLBOARD vendor.  If you do not sell designs through the Adorable Affordable Designs Mall these are your only options $10 & two design donations per month
$20 & one design donation per month
$25 and no design donations
Want more than one ad per Week?

It is $5 extra for an occasional extra ad once in a while.

It is $25 extra if you want two ads per week.   (remember that a month is more than four weeks long so you will get two ads per week)

Payment for DAILY Newsletter Logo  (Optional)
With this option you get a link on the left hand side of the newsletter EVERY DAY.   The link will have your logo and the name of your site.  

 

You need to be paying for the regular billboard ads (see above) to participate in the newsletter ads. 

There is now a separate section on the newsletter for those of you that have on-going sales. This option if for those that have paid for this optional DAILY NEWSLETTER EVERY DAY LOGO LINK.  Let Pam know if you want a link in this section.  

$25 a month
Payment for JUST FOR YOU Newsletter (Optional)
With this option you get a full color newsletter similar to the daily Embroidery Billboard newsletter but it features only your collections and your own sales.   You can reserve a specific date you want the ad to run. The link will have your one link to the Embroidery Billboard site. You need to be paying for the regular billboard ads (see above) to participate in this option

$25 one time fee per Just For You Ad
Payment for Pam Writing A Daily Ad For You
With this option you get an ad written to you with up to there images.  The ad features only your collections and your own sales.   The ad will run on the day you request.   Once this ad is written you may use this ad for your own use at any other place you advertise. You need to be paying for the regular billboard ads (see above) to participate in this option 

 Let Pam know if you want a this option or if you want a sample sent to you.

$10 fee per ad written.

 Design donations help increase the membership and maintain the membership we already have. Pam may place the donated design on your billboard for free download one month or in the Embroidery Billboard Gold club. 

Any design that is donated must be exclusive to the billboard site and not available for free at any other web site including your own web site but they CAN be a design that is up for sale in a set.  Use a design from set that you want to feature or promote.  Perhaps you might want to use a design from a set that hasn't been selling well but make sure it is a nicely digitized design.  Both designs give members a chance to sample your style and quality of digitizing and both will have a link near them that leads the potential customer to your site to make a purchase.  Designs need to be your own digitizing and not the work of others.

PLEASE READ DESIGN POLICY Below

Designs that are lettering only or very simple (one or two colors) or poorly digitized or from poor artwork are not acceptable.  Redwork or other single color work can be submitted occasionally but not every single month.  You need to offer a quality design that will shows off your digitizing talent.   PLEASE donate high quality designs that are your OWN digitizing.  I apologize if this offends those of you who have been asked to send in a replacement design but donating poorly digitized or very simple designs will not encourage people to purchase from you which is the goal of advertising. Pam reserves the right to ask for replacement designs.   There is an option to pay the $25 a month instead of donating designs.

Profit from the Gold design is used to pay for extra bandwidth and my time to help the large number of members downloading designs as this is a extremely time consuming list and expensive web site to run.  I pay large fees to increase the bandwidth so the site won't crash due to the large number of people visiting the site daily. I also put in many hours per week just for the billboard.  

I believe you will find that advertising through Embroidery Billboard is a great bargain compared to costs of other ways of advertising. 

You may send in an ad to post each week. You are responsible for remembering to send in an ad to post and you must advertise only your own embroidery designs, artwork or embroidery supplies. Fees are due whether or not  you send in an ad because the link to your site is maintained at all times so people still have a way to visit your site.  There are no long term contracts to sign but fees are kept low by assuming you are advertising every month.  Please contact Pam at embroiderybillboard@cox.net  if you need to make special arrangements for advertising or wish to leave the Embroidery Billboard.

Pictures help people pay attention to your ad.  If you want to have pictures in your ad limit it to about three images sized at about 200 pixels or less (on the longest side) so that your ad loads fast for those with slow connections. Images need to be about 15-25 bytes each so the page loads quickly.  If you want images to show up write the ad and add any images on a web page.  Then upload that web page with the ad on it your server and email Pam the link to the ad.   Doing it this way insures your images will show up.  The images don't always show up when you put  them into an email.  

 If you want to advertise more often than once per week or you represent other people on your site then special arrangements need to be made through Pam. Digitizers who sell through the Adorable Affordable Designs Mall must point links in their Embroidery Billboard ads to their section of the Adorable Affordable Design Mall.  

Embroidery Billboard does not advertise for other mailing lists including other Yahoo groups or for other embroidery design malls unless the owner of that group has made special arrangements with Pam.

Pam reserves the right to edit ads for clarification and so that the rules above are followed and that grammar, punctuation and capitalization are corrected and that links work.

 ---------------------Design Information----------------------

Gold Club Designs are due by the 25th of the month prior to it being released.  You can send in designs early if you wish. For example your GOLD CLUB design that is counted towards the OCTOBER donation is actually due to me (Pam) by September 25th.   That is because I have to get the web page for GOLD CLUB and the conversions done in advance.  Free designs for a particular month need to be sent in anytime during the month it is due.  When sending designs please have them fit the 100x100mm hoop or include split files as there are still a lot of people that cannot stitch the large designs.  Also include a thumbnail (150x150 pixels with 100dpi) (1.5 inches on the longest side) of the design with a white background, the native format of the design or pes format (we will convert it to other formats for you) and a text file in .txt format that includes design information and your web site address.  PLEASE do not send in your designs together.  It helps me out so much when you send each design in it's own email.    

  When sending in free designs write BILLBOARD DESIGN in the subject line please. We put up ART, PES, HUS, VIP, JEF and SEW because those are the most popular formats.   

 Please note that your free design may not go up for quite a few days if there are lots of people sending in free designs all at the same time.  Designs are put up in the order in which they are received and are put up as soon as possible.

I think you will be pleased with the increased traffic you will see at your site.   People just need to be reminded that your site is there.   Keep your ads short and to the point because we want people to get to your site and buy something they like rather than spending too much time reading your ad.  Make sure to include the ENTIRE link in your ad  (LIKE THIS http://www.yoursitehere.com)
